General cycling information
On this trip we cycle 289 km/179.6 miles over 10 days (an average of 29 km/18 miles per day). The terrain is flat and we cycle on a mixture of tarmac roads (70%) and tracks (30%). We mainly follow quiet backroads, however sometimes you have to travel on busier roads when leaving the larger towns and Vietnam is generally busier than Cambodia. A support vehicle accompanies the rides throughout the trip. We have graded the route as easy.
Bike information
Your included bike is a 24 gear Giant or ATX mountain bike with front suspension and will be the correct frame size for your height. A pannier or handle bar bag is included. A water bottle holder is included in both countries as well as the facility to fit your own pedals or saddle if you wish to bring them. A support vehicle accompanies the rides throughout the tour wherever possible. We provide spare parts and take care of the day to day maintenance. All you need to bring is your own helmet. E-bikes are available upon request at an additional cost of £195. We offer different models of e-bike with front suspension and there will be a different bike in each country. This is only available in a small or medium size frame (160-180cm height). Please note these are subject to availability on a first come first served basis and the cost is subject to change.
